UV DTF Stickers and Transfers

UV DTF Transfers

UV DTF transfers apply directly to hard surfaces: cups, tumblers, keychains, ceramics, metal, and wood. No heat press, no lamination step. DTF Dallas prints them in-house in Richardson, TX, with same-day shipping on orders placed before 2:00 PM CST.

No minimums. Free shipping on orders over $100.

What Is a UV DTF Transfer?

UV DTF (UV Direct-to-Film) uses ultraviolet-cured inks applied to a transfer film. Standard DTF transfers press onto fabric at 300–320°F using a heat press. UV DTF transfers cure under UV light and adhere to non-porous surfaces at room temperature.

No heat. No weeding. No lamination.

Peel the backing, press the film to your surface, squeegee it flat, and pull the carrier film. The print stays. About two minutes per piece. A heat press can't decorate a glass or a keychain, UV DTF can.

What Surfaces Accept UV DTF Transfers?

UV DTF transfers bond with smooth, non-porous materials. If you can squeegee a sticker flat against it, UV DTF will hold:

  • Glass cups and tumblers (16oz Libbey glasses, pint glasses, stemware)
  • Ceramic mugs, plates, and ornaments
  • Metal keychains, water bottles, and powder-coated tumblers
  • Plastic phone cases and acrylic blanks
  • Wood and MDF plaques
  • Leather patches and coated accessories

For fabric decoration (t-shirts, hoodies, hats), standard DTF transfers are the right product. UV DTF is for hard surfaces.

How to Apply UV DTF Transfers

All you need is a squeegee (a credit card edge works too):

  1. Clean the surface. Wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let dry. Oil or residue will reduce adhesion.
  2. Peel the backing. Remove the white release liner.
  3. Position and press. Align the transfer and press lightly from center outward.
  4. Squeegee edge to edge. Firm, even pressure across the full print to push out air.
  5. Pull the carrier film. Low angle, slow pull. Print stays on the surface.

No curing oven, no ventilation setup. Sellers adding drinkware to an existing apparel line can start decorating cups the same day stock arrives.
