  • We recommend choosing a weighted blanket that’s around 10% of your overall body weight. If you’re in between weights, it’s best to round down to the lighter weight, especially if this is your first time trying a weighted blanket!

  • We recommend using the Napper for less than 2 hours during the first three days and gradually increasing the usage until you build up to a full night’s rest. After around ten days, you should begin to experience the benefits of restorative rest.

  • Unlike conventional weighted blankets, our Nappers are weighted with layer upon layer of sustainable fabric — no artificial fillers or plastic pellets. The hand-knitted design distributes weight evenly and allows air to circulate through the night!

  • You can machine wash your Napper separately in cool water on a delicate cycle. After washing, tumble dry your Napper on low – it may take a few cycles to fully dry. Check your machine’s weight capacity before washing, and avoid top-loading machines.

From the first time I put on the Napper, that changed! I found my whole body relaxing and my stress practically melting away! Now I use the Bearaby blanket for naps almost every day. It's like pressing an instant sleep button! I will add that it is definitely the perfect weighted blanket for a hot sleeper like me, because air can flow through it all night long, and the natural fabric doesn't make me hot or sweaty.

    I love that this weighted blanket is made from organic material and is Made-in-Green by OEKO-TEX certified.     I wanted to upgrade our weighted blanket setup since we have cats and their nails don't match with the weighted blankets filled with beads.

    Found out about these through the Purple store and bought them from Amazon (because Amazon). These do not have beads, but rather rely on just fabric weight (perfect for cats). Very nicely weighted out and stretchy, we use two for a king sized bed.

    Biggest complaint is the expensive up front cost (I spent over $500 on two), but I feel like they should last a good long while, especially since they aren't filled with beads. Another minor complaint is since we have cat hair, it is a little more challenging to get the hair out of the crevices, but hasn't been too bad comparatively speaking.

    More so an investment for a better night of sleep, because these things do a great job of being a weighted blanket and I sleep fantastic now.

    My honest review is three stars and that’s because there’s definitely something about laying under this blanket that feels interesting and cozy, however, I do not believe the price is justified, but I was willing to accept, and most importantly the blanket was delivered to me smelling like black mold, which is something I’m very familiar with because I was a plumber for 17 years. I quickly returned it. Maybe where these blankets are stored has moisture issues so idk.. 🤷‍♂️ but that definitely needs to be looked at because for someone to pay $300 for a blanket only to receive a blanket that smells like mold is unacceptable.. My other concern is when I would need to wash this blanket, I don’t see this being easy at all.. so it’s like yeah there’s something cool about this blanket but at what expense? I just don’t think it’s worth it. Solely my opinion.

    Die Decke befindet sich sehr eng gewickelt in einem Stoffbeutel. Man kann sie nur mit Mühe herausziehen, hinein bekommt man sie nicht mehr, wenn man sie transportieren möchte. Das erste, was einem in die Nase steigt ist ein penetranter Geruch. Auch durch ausbreiten und lüften ändert sich nichts an dem Geruch. Wenn die Decke auf einem liegt, steigt einem der unangenehme Geruch die ganze Nacht in die Nase. in dieser Preislage finde ich das komplett unakzeptabel (made in India). Die Maße sind gewöhnungsbedürftig, es ist ein Quadrat, also entweder hat man es auf den Beinen oder auf der oberen Körperhälfte liegen. Ob die Decke durch ihr Gewicht den Schlaf positiv beeinflusst ist sicher individuell unterschiedlich. Der Gestank fördert auf alle Fälle nicht den Schlaf. Fazit: Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt gar nicht. Ich würde nur noch eine Gewichtsdecke zu ca. einem Viertel dieses Preises kaufen, in einem gewohnten Maß, die sind von vielen Anbietern verfügbar. Die angepriesene Luftdurchlässigkeit wird erst durch entsprechende Lücken in den Maschen gewährleistet. Kurzum: der Preis (habe über 300 Euro bezahlt) ist zu keinem Zeitpunkt gerechtfertigt.
