The space
WHY STAYING HERE?
We offer a 150m2 sunny appartment located in the heart of the city (10-15 min walk to Plaza Catalunya, Paseo de Gracia, Raval, Gothic Quarter and other main sights of the city).

I am a jewelry designer (lacuna.shop) and highly passionate about everything related to art and interior design, so I spent a lot of time renovating this beautifully classical place on the third floor of a traditional 19th century Modernist building in the Eixample district. It has lots of charm and luxurious details such as the very high ceilings with original plaster crown molding and the beautiful floors with original Barcelona-style hydraulic tiles. It is a superb example of mixing the antique with avantgarde and confort. The ultimate experience if you are looking for a historic and luxurious retreat.

The apartment is located in an area with great selection of restaurants and bars, close to public transportation and with many stores and supermarkets nearby.

· Bedroom 1: with double bed and a balcony
- Bedroom 2: 1 double bed and one extra bed if required. Balcony and beautiful views to an old church and a belfry
- Bedroom 3: 2 single beds

⁃ A very modern and spatious kitchen with brand new modern appliances such as large fridge, oven and microwave, nespresso machine, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, kettle along with cooking utensils, full dinner set, glasses, etc
⁃ Luxurious bathrooms with bath and shower
(Towels, toilet paper, soap, hand wash, hair dryer, gel and shampoo are all provided)
- Iron and ironing board
- Complimentary Nespresso capsules, tea bags and ground coffee, plus basics for cooking like oil, vinegar, salt and spices…
- Baby cot, high chair and other baby stuff is provided (please ask us in advance so we have everything prepared for your arrival).

Nearest metro stop: Urgell (red line). Only 1 min by walk.

Check in and check out are flexible, except in cases in which there is a group coming/leaving the same day.

We always welcome guests personally to ensure they arrive well, understand all facilities and may have their burning questions answered. We also offer them a 15% discount at our Jewelry Collections at lacuna.shop

IMPORTANT:
- The apartment is located on a quiet building where local families live. For this reason, we very rarely host groups of young people (in their 20's and 30's). PLEASE DO NOT USE THE INSTANT BOOKING OPTION IF THIS IS YOUR CASE. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in advance.
- We usually do not accept short bookings (2/3 days) with a lot of time in advance, specially during the summer months. Thank you for your understanding!

Where you’ll be

Eixample is famous for being home to the majority of Barcelona's art nouveau masterpieces, and a high-class residential and shopping area.
Passeig de Gràcia is the heart of Eixample and the line that cuts the area into two from "Eixample left" and "Eixample right".

Here you will find most of Barcelona's international designer shops such as Chanel and MaxMara. Also along this road are La Pedrera and Casa Batlló, two of Gaudí's characteristically dreamlike buildings. There are many interesting art galleries in the area and if art appeals then be sure to have a look in Fundacion Antoni Tapies which is just off Passeig de Gràcia and has a permanent collection of this Catalan artist's work.

Eixample is a safe and residential part of the city but there is also a vibrant nightlife and a thriving café culture. Eixample is a beautiful barrio to wander round, take in the glorious architecture and people-watch from one of the many terrace cafes.

It is in Eixample that you will find some of the best, and most expensive, restaurants in town. This combined with some internationally known bars such as Dry Martini makes the area a pleasant place to spend an evening.

Transport to and from the area is good. Eixample is serviced by several metro stops, as well as the FGC train. However the area is central and most other parts of the city are within walking distance.
