About Robert Hahn

Robert Hahn is a nonprofit executive with over 30 years of experience in leadership, fundraising, and community development. He currently serves as the Chief Advancement Officer at Birmingham Green, a senior care organization based in Manassas, Virginia. In this role, he oversees fundraising, community engagement, and strategic partnerships.

Hahn began his nonprofit career by founding End Hunger in Calvert County in 2008. The organization grew into a regional network of over 150 partners, distributing food to 25,000 people annually. He led the construction of a 40,000-square-foot warehouse and developed job training programs to help individuals move from dependency to self-sufficiency.

In 2013, he expanded his work internationally by creating Honduras Compassion Partners, which developed clean water systems, medical clinics, and education programs in partnership with local governments. In 2021, he founded the Central American Training Foundation, which provides emergency response and vocational training across Central America.

Hahn also founded End Hunger in Southern Maryland in 2022, building a coalition of 73 local partners and serving thousands of families. He has raised over $10 million across various organizations through private donations, corporate partnerships, and grants.

His educational background includes a B.A. in Journalism from Long Island University, a Master of Divinity from Trinity College and University, and a Nonprofit Executive Management Certificate from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Hahn is known for his work in hunger relief, international development, and senior care. He has received multiple state and community awards for public service and nonprofit leadership.
