Marco Bitran

Marco Bitran is a real estate investor based in Greater Boston, Massachusetts. He is the founder of BMF, a firm that provides equity capital to real estate developers across cities including Boston, Everett, Worcester, Fall River, and New Bedford. Bitran has been active in the real estate sector since 2010, focusing on multi-family and urban development projects.

Before founding BMF, Bitran held several roles in finance and technology. He was the founder and CEO of AI Exchange, a platform aimed at increasing transparency and liquidity in alternative investments. The company raised funding from firms such as General Catalyst and CommonAngels. Prior to that, Bitran worked as a portfolio manager at ClearStream Investments and as a global industry analyst at Wellington Management.

He also has experience in investment banking from his time at Morgan Stanley and has worked as an engineer at Qualcomm. Bitran earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from MIT. At MIT, he was a member of the varsity crew team and various engineering honor societies.

In addition to his business work, Bitran is a licensed commercial pilot and volunteers with Patient Airlift Services (PALS), flying medical transport missions. He also participated in the HBS Community Action Partners program, providing consulting to nonprofits. Bitran is married and a father of two. He continues to be involved in technology, finance, and community service.
