About Les Roberts
Les Roberts is the Director of Miami Fine Art Gallery, a leading destination for art collectors and enthusiasts. Since 2008, he has overseen the curation and sale of rare and high-value artworks, helping establish the gallery’s reputation in Miami’s art scene.
Roberts studied art history and business at New York University, where he gained a strong foundation in both artistic and commercial aspects of the industry. He further refined his expertise through a prestigious internship at Sotheby’s in New York, where he learned auction operations, art valuation, and collection management.
Under Roberts’ leadership, Miami Fine Art Gallery has expanded its collection to include works by renowned artists such as Rembrandt, Picasso, Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, and Banksy, alongside contemporary figures like Robert Indiana, Julian Opie, and Mr. Brainwash. His approach to curation focuses on storytelling and accessibility, ensuring that both seasoned collectors and first-time buyers can engage with fine art.
In addition to his work at the gallery, Roberts advocates for greater access to the arts. He has led initiatives to host free exhibitions, educational events, and workshops to engage the wider community. He also supports arts education in schools, citing studies that link art exposure to higher graduation rates and academic success.
Roberts remains an active voice in Miami’s art community, frequently participating in symposiums, gallery talks, and educational programs. His work focuses on making fine art more accessible while maintaining Miami Fine Art Gallery’s role as a hub for collectors and cultural appreciation.
