One Note is very useful, and once I got used to it I don’t use any other note taking app any more, and I almost stopped using Google notes. But there are a couple of annoying bugs, such as sometimes complaining that I have no Internet connection (which sometimes can be cured by stopping and restarting the app), getting out of synch with the desktop app for no reason, and having weird formatting issues. And the latest versions missed the back/forward arrows that was so useful.
OneNote on iOS gets the job done, but it really needs to have some more features

Overall, for most use cases, this app works great. I wish they would add more features though. The app rarely gets any new features and is not a seamless experience with the windows version on the pc. Additional features like improved handwriting with Apple pencil, adding new pen styles, ruler, and rotating selected items would make the writing experience better.
From Evernote to OneNote

I started the migration a few days back. I had about 2300 Evernote notes that I wanted to move to one note. I tried to utility that I got online and it made a mess. It cost me at least an hour or so. But then I started doing cut and paste and it worked out great. It is a big improvement from Evernote. Many more features and it works better. Just still a learning curve to go through between the Web app and the desktop app and Windows but I’m getting a handle on it.
Bring back update page feature

I use “insert meeting details” with Copilot to create a OneNote meeting notes page that I use during a meeting. About 30 minutes after the recorded meeting has ended I used the “update page” feature to automatically pull in the AI meeting summaries and action items. Recently, Microsoft removed the feature to update page details, which creates more work to bring in the AI summaries into OneNote. Please bring that feature back.
