  • It made my life easy peasy while in Paris!

    Oh my gosh I don’t want to think how it would have been to deal with a lot of luggage and children using the metro. Luckily my friend in Paris recommended G7 taxi app because you can ask for a car with a booster or car seat which it’s hard to do with Uber. To my delight using ordering the taxi which we did multiple times was so easy and convenient because you put your card info and it makes a contactless payment and tipping a breeze. ALL of the drivers were so nice and some even spoke English. The metro is nice when you have no luggage but it also can be overwhelming and not necessarily working all the time 🤣Anyway, I’m super happy I used G7! Now if you are at Orly airport usually the driver will come inside the door you agree on the app and pick you up there so don’t try to walk by yourself trying to find him 🤣 like I did one time. For Charles de Gaulle our driver waited for us at the bottom parking directly under the terminal door you agree to. So don’t just walk outside to wait for him. Rather read if it says “professional parking” it’s downstairs bottom parking because it’s easier and more convenient for both.

  • Great help for a tourist with one warning

    I loved this help and its help with our trip. All cabs were clean, most drivers were pleasant and as followed on my phone's map, they seemed to all take a direct route to our destination. We used the app probably 25 times while in Paris. Now one warning that will make you mad. When you book your cab it will take payment immediately. I have no problem with that. But we had an incident at the Louvre where the driver said he was at our pick-up location. Not a taxi in sight. I called the driver, he said he was exactly at our address and coordinates. I said that we were at the Louvre front entrance circle on the Carousel side. He said he was there, again no taxi anywhere in sight. I again said where we were located. He hung up, and promptly canceled our trip, the app billed my credit card and even gave my preselected tip of 4 euros to the driver who bailed. Once it is canceled, you have no recourse for whole or partial reimbursement. There is nowhere on the app to dispute the issue. You can not even rate your experience for that trip order. It is a great way for the company to get free cash and keep the negative ratings down.

    I just returned from a trip to Paris and had great luck using this app. It works very similar to Uber and it gives you the driver, description of car and license tag number; all necessary information to know before getting into a car. All my drivers were very good and I had zero problems on my rides. I was always able to input my destination before my taxi arrival which makes things so simple. It is Reasonably priced too.2 times I couldn't get an Internet connection on my phone and couldn't use the app but that is not a criticism of the app, of course you need an Internet connection for it to work! I contacted customer service one time before my trip and she was so very helpful and made me feel very welcome to contact again if I had any issues. She contacted me by phone which I was surprised at that high level of customer service. A Great experience.

  • Credit card payment doesn’t work

    This app is very useful. We used it on a number of occasions. One big issue is that whenever trying to pay by credit card, I always get an error, even though my CC is registered and verified with the app. Same problem for my friend. The app is usable only when paying with cash (which you can select via the confusingly named “On board” option). Another bug is that the driver never sees the number of passengers you specify when you request the ride. This was a problem since we were often 4 people, but some drivers had the front passenger seat filled with junk, so couldn’t accommodate us.

    Two days ahead I set up taxi to CDG for 4am. I could track drivers progress on iPhone...he arrived at 3:55 and was very pleasant and helpful. Will definitely use service again. I did call a day ahead to be sure reservation was in place. Compared to phone call, this app was much less ambiguous in selecting pick up point. For me, there were several similar addresses in Paris. Using the mapping function allowed certainty as to the correct one. The phone operater asked me my address, but seemed unsure which one to choose from her database until she checked my reservation selection from this App.

  • Can’t order a taxi

    G7 has great cars and great drivers and the G7 App was working great until around July 5th. After that time, whenever I order a taxi, I get a message “3D Secure Verification Failed”. My bank told me they are not seeing any 3D Secure Verification attempts coming from G7. I understand some other users are having the same issue. G7 is trying to help me, but it has been over a week with no solution. I hope we can fix this issue because I would prefer to use G7 for my rides instead of the other services.
