This app is truly one of the best digital camera filters on the App Store right now. I’ve always run into the same problem with other filter apps: they layer their filters, with really no change in shade, contrast, or depth, until ISM. It truly adds more depth to the images I capture without changing the organic photo. However, my only downside is the premium cost. I’d be willing to pay for a monthly or yearly subscription, but the only option here is that it’s $7.99 per week for premium. Yes, the free version gives you 3 edits, but plenty of other filter apps offer a yearly or one-time subscription. I fear it may cost many people to switch to other apps in the future that offer the same benefits at a lower price. Personally, a weekly subscription isn’t ideal for many, since you only pay when you want to make content so that it wouldn’t be worth it in the end. Nevertheless. is still an amazing app, wish they offered different subscriptions

Note: I find it very suspicious how this app has a 4.8 rating, but many (if not most) of the written reviews seem negative lolI downloaded this app after seeing an ad which was mostly 90s-00s analog video footage. The ad implied (maybe even claimed, I don’t know for sure because I can’t find the ad again lol) that you could mimic that style of video with your phone and this app. Otherwise, why show the footage, right? Well anyways, you can’t really do that in this app. You can add video filters, but they’re all a little disappointing and you could probably achieve similar results with your phone’s included editing features, for free. I will say the collages and templates seem pretty cool (although some of them are just ai-generated), but still, underneath a subscription model it doesn’t really seem worth it. And then of course, this app employs the classic scummy tactic of offering a free trial that automatically charges a subscription fee after only a few days, which only serves to pray on people who accidentally forgot to cancel..TL;DR - cool app at face value, however the advertisements are a little misleading, it really isn’t a good value at all, and the free option is so limited that it might not be worth it. I did the math, if you paid for a subscription for this app for only a month, you’d be able to afford a used film camera, film, and get it developed with the same amount of money. The only thing is you don’t have to pay a subscription to own a camera.

Hi, I’ve used this app since last year. It has never made me wait 8 hours to edit more photos, or had it blocked me from touching the filters. Until I touched it again and found out I could only edit 3 photos, basically a day. 😭😭 I understood gating specifics filters, but gating everything and making people who want to use your app, pay around $8.. with basically no choice whatsoever, with the mindset of “If they don’t like it, go to another”, is disappointing. I would’ve paid for membership like I had before, being able to use a specific filter that was gated.. but since the app is entirely gated now, it’s disappointing and not something I’d want to support.Especially when it’s a monthly payment and not a one time payment. Might as well gate the app together at this point.

I saw the ads for this on TikTok and it looked great. As soon as I downloaded I hit a paywall at 7.99 A WEEK!!!! We aren’t even gonna talk about how deceptive the ads are and how deceptive the general concept of making the app free to download when in actuality it isn’t free to use with a subscription for more features. They do this so they can boost their download numbers so they can be shown more on the App Store. 32 dollars a month for what is essentially just some filters is ABSOLUTELY INSANE. That is almost 400 dollars a year. These practices aren’t just money hungry. They are exploitative. If you are considering an app like this don’t. It’s a gimmick, money hungry, unethical excuse for an app that was more than likely made with the intention of making quick money from people who forget to cancel after the feee trial. STUPID!

UPDATE: I have reached out by email 3 times and social media twice and have yet to receive a response on my refund. I have reached out to the App Store multiple times. This is the first time in my life that I haven’t gotten a refund for a free trial, one that only lasts 24 hours at that. ////////A one day free trial is really misleading. It does not give you the time to cancel your subscription, and I never got a notification either. I barely edited maybe 5-6 pictures with this app before I deleted it and made a mental note to end my free trial in a day or two. $7.99 is a lot of money to be taking away from people when they’re not happy with the service provided, especially if you’re wanting to build loyal customers. Bad business. The filters aren’t that good either tbh.

This app is incredibly misleading. There was none of the features that were showcased on ads. Also when I tried the free trial it had me pick a subscription. After all it was a free trial so I chose the first one because I was going to cancel it after anyways. But after I cancelled it, it was charging my card even after I had cancelled the subscription. The subscription has now expired and I’ve tried talking with Apple countless of times to remove the subscription and stop charging me but nothing is working. I’ve tried getting this app to stop charging me for months now and it won’t stop even after the subscription has expired. So if your reading this don’t download this app unless your fine with being charged after you cancelled your subscription.
