Italki is wonderful. There are so many options as far as choices of instructors and price points. I found my perfect teacher after about five or six trail lessons with others. Actually, the others were all good but I connected more with one in particular and I’m very happy. Scheduling lessons is a snap. I get reminders about upcoming lessons and the Internet connection is reliable. I’m extremely happy with Italki.

Update - I’ve been using this app for lessons for 7ish months now still really enjoying it. I’ve stayed with the same tutor and am comfortable with her. Definitely worth it if you’re looking to get serious about your learning!I’m still new to the app, but I’ve had my first lesson and really enjoyed it! The app is a little confusing but desktop is easier!

The app is smooth, interface is great, my teacher is kind, her schedule works well for my lifestyle. A lot of affordable teachers for Spanish not sure about the other languages. Honestly surprised how much I’m liking this. If you’re seriously trying to learn another language this app is definitely worth checking out at least.

Excellent platform for finding tutors for many languages. I’ve used it for many years and have never had a problem with payment etc. You can pick a tutor that suits your interests. The app has been upgraded over the years and has many features that it did not have in the past.

I’ve been using italki for over a year and a half and have noticed my language learning making significant progress. I like that there are so many tutors to choose from so that I could find one that really suited my learning needs. It’s very accessible and affordable, and has been a key tool in my language learning journey!

It is wonderful to make appointments for language lessons with people living all around world. The website was changed making it difficult to do basic tasks. They are responding to comments since recent changes are an improvement. Still not as easy before the major change. I recommend italki to anyone learning another language.
