I have multiple gmail accounts. On my main account it says ‘No connection’ when I try to view the mail. The others work. I’ve been having this problem for at least a week and the latest update didn’t seem to fix it.Later edit: I managed ti fix my problem by removing the gmail app and reinstalling it.
Can't block an email address

I want to block an email address which spams me with information about payments because they want me to introduce my credit card information on their website and steal from me. I already blocked and reported the emails as spam but: the emails from this email address aren't entirely blocked and go to spam even though I blocked this email address. Why can't an email address on Gmail be blocked entirely to stop receiving emails sent by the blocked email address? And when I click on the email sent by the "blocked" sender, Gmail still asks me if I want to unblock the sender, no Gmail, I want to stop receiving emails from this blocked email address and I don't care if these emails come marked as spam. Just stop the offender from successfully sending me "spam" emails.

On opening links Gmail gives you the option to open either in "Safari" or Chrome, however what they call "Safari" isn't actual Safari, but a web view that does not share history, cookies or the browser UI of mobile Safari.In other words Google is intentionally misleading people. For users links opened in web views are painful b/c links in emails are often to services requiring login (e.g. GitHub, Gitter). Or if they are to public websites, it's best for privacy if you have a content blocker for trackers, which of course didn't work in web views. Or Chrome.Google, please let me open links in freaking mobile Safari. Firefox would be nice too, but I know hell will freeze over for that one.
It’s good but I have some problems

The app is good, but I'm not receiving notifications on my phone. I have an online business and receive notifications daily. I have to manually check for notifications every time because they are not showing up on my phone. I have checked my phone settings, and notifications from Gmail are allowed. Can you help me ?
