In the latest game in the Tennis Manager series, you take control of a rising star’s career, managing everything from training regimens to travel arrangements.

What we love: The matches are important, of course, and you can watch them play out as they happen. However, in common with a real-life coach, there’s not much you can do once your player crosses the white line, aside from managing their mindset and the intensity of their play. Instead, it’s all about making sure their schedule has the right mix of tournaments, training sessions and rest, keeping your player fit and competitive, while bringing in enough prize money to keep the show on the road. Get all that right, and – in theory, at least – the on-court stuff should look after itself.

Quick tip: Remember that a tennis season is a marathon, not a sprint, so managing energy in matches – and your resources from week to week – is just as important as your player’s prowess on court.

Meet the creator: Based in Angoulême in the south of France, developer Rebound CG launched the original Tennis Manager Mobile in 2019. The PC version of the game crowned its first world champion at the inaugural King of Ze Court competition in 2021.
