The app is pretty excellent when compared to other paid camera apps in the App Store. Its interface is intuitive, and its functions powerful. With lots of professional features, it is still friendly to most users, from seasoned photographers to inexperienced newbies.However, the thing I hate most is that it takes a century—well, 2 seconds, to be precise—to open the app. I mean, every time you open the app, you’ll have to wait for a 1-2 seconds before things show up in the view finder. As far as I am concerned, this problem has been around for quite a while, and the developer seems to have no idea of why.Besides, whenever I press the button on the lower left corner, it will go to “photos”; when I press the button again, it does not go back to the camera as expected, and goes to “favorites” instead. I really dislike the idea of saving photos in “favorites”, instead of saving them directly and immediately to the “photos” by default. Isn’t there any way of disabling the “favorites” once and for all?

I’ve used this app for the past couple of years and had used the classic version for much longer. And, I’ve never experienced any problems with the app. At first, I was worried that it had upgraded so often that I wouldn’t be able to work out how to use the app BUT it wasn’t as hard as I thought it’d be. It still does everything I need when it comes to basic editing and cropping. And when I need really good photos taken, only then do I use this app - besides that, normally I use the built-in camera for photos that don’t need the best quality.——————[2019]Title: Does What I NeedRating: 4 StarsHas always been my go to app for basic photo editing, such as cropping, etc. I had the classic version for all of my other iPhones but purchased this version when I purchased an iPhone X - I thought I’d start off with only the best!

I thought that after nearly 10 years of using this app I should actually come here and show some appreciation for it. I have tried a lot of the paid apps over the years and this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. It is like a cut down version of Lightroom and allows for quite fine control over many aspects of editing and colouring your photos. There really isn’t that much else to say about it except it is an indispensable part of my mobile device photo arsenal and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. A note to the developers: I am really liking the changes you have made to the layout of the app. Editing feels much more immediate and the extra visual aspects of the controls are on point. Props to you for continually improving this app since its release.

I had this app for ages and the latest updated interface is really appealing. However I’m puzzled by the lens selection labels. The native camera app gives me 0.5x, 1x (1.5 and 2x), and 5x. Camera+ has 0.5x, 1x and 2x which uses the 5x lens. It’s been this way for all recent versions and seems like a significant oversight. Also confusing is when using ‘2x’ (which is really 5x) the digital zoom bar starts at 1x (which is really optical 5x) and runs up to 6x. It would make more sense to start at 5x and go up from there. (The native app goes seamlessly from 0.5x to 25x digital zoom, switching lenses as needed, which seems more natural.)Finally Camera+ takes a veritable eternity to launch on my iPhone 15 Pro Max, almost 10 seconds, long enough to make it useless for many shots.
