RefrigiWear

Working in extremely cold conditions can be a bother and can really slow you down. But, the work becomes more doable and much more tolerable with the right insulated clothing capable of protecting workers from these frigid temperatures. This is where RefrigiWear Inc. comes in handy!

Get to Know RefrigiWear

The RefrigiWear brand, founded in 1954 by Myron Breakstone, addresses the pain points of workers in cold environments. The brand takes pride in its story of how they were conceived – through Breakstone’s personal experience while serving in Northern Italy during World War II and observing the workers of his family’s dairy business.

Through these experiences, Mr. Breakstone crafted RefrigiWear products to make sure that workers feel warmth while working. Along with his brother-in-law, Mortimer Malden, they started the RefrigiWear Clothing Company in Manhattan, New York.

The company’s headquarters moved a few times until they finally settled at their current location in Dahlonega, Georgia, in 1991.

Currently, the brand has expanded its international presence by being a non-resident importer to Canada and partnering with international distributors in countries such as France, Japan, Singapore, Mexico, the United Kingdom, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and Spain, among others.

The insulated industrial workwear they offer promises to be tougher and warmer than the conditions at work to provide the best comfort while not restricting movement. The brand also continues to innovate and create products that comply with industry safety standards to ensure that every garment protects the worker wearing it and assures their well being.

Why Choose RefrigiWear Safety Garments?

RefrigiWear may have started as simple work garments for inclement weather, but that doesn’t mean that the brand isn’t also valuable on other occasions.

The beauty of RefrigiWear safety garments and winter products that include – but are not limited to the following – boots, gloves, winter pullovers, vests, and other related wear and accessories − is that they can be worn during other outdoor activities where cold can be a likely enemy like when winter hiking or fishing.

RefrigiWear provides every wearer with the following advantages:

Comfort

Every RefrigiWear product takes pride in being warmer than the environmental conditions it is used in. This means you won’t be shivering in the cold while working or doing any other outdoor activities.

More than the protection against cold weather, the materials used and the design are meant to allow the wearer to move without any restrictions. The gear won’t hinder your movement or lessen productivity.

Expertise

RefrigiWear safety garments are developed through decades of hard work, observation, innovative thinking, and working side-by-side with actual people in the industry.

The fact that the brand visits worksites annually gives it an edge over other brands. During worksite visits, they hear what clients need and how to improve the products, making the brand a master of its craft.

Durability

Premium materials and consistent craftsmanship are used in every garment made. This guarantees reliability and high-quality performance so that those wearing RefrigiWear can do their thing with peace of mind.
