ALGS Split 2 Playoffs in Las Vegas - Everything you need to know

Sapporo approaches, and 40 of the best Apex Legends teams are heading to Vegas to duke it out to book their spot at Champs, earn a share of the $2,000,000 USD prizing — and potentially lift an ALGS Playoffs trophy in the process.

The ALGS Split 2 Playoffs brings Apex Legends back to North America for the first time since 2024 and we can’t wait to see you — either in the arena or in chat across four days of electric action.

We’ve gathered all the information you need to know ahead of competition kicking off on October 29th and running until November 1st at the Orleans Arena.

ALGS Year 6 Split 2 Playoffs teams

Across the four ALGS regions, 120 teams battled it out across the Split 2 Pro League and Regional Finals to secure their spot at Vegas.

ALGS Split 2 Playoffs format explained

For ALGS diehards, this event will once again follow our tried and tested Playoffs format, featuring a Group Stage, Double-Elimination Bracket and will, of course, culminate in a Match Point Finals on Sunday.

Teams have been seeded into their 10 team groups on Championship Points, and will play a single, six-match series against the other groups across Thursday and Friday.

Cumulative points from those Group Stage games will separate our teams into a top 20, and a lower 20. The 20 highest finishers will head into the Winners Bracket, and the bottom 20 will face a tricker path along the Lower Bracket during Saturday’s Elimination stage.

By the end of Saturday, we will know who the 20 teams are advancing to Sunday’s Match Point finals for a shot at the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs trophy.

Match Point finals need teams to reach that all important 50 point threshold to become Match Point Eligible. From there, they need to win an additional match to secure their place in ALGS history and lift the trophy.
