This morning in Geneva, Dr. Sana Hamzeh was elected to the United Nations Subcommittee on Prevention of Torture (SPT) for 2027–2030. She received 76 votes from 96 States Parties, the highest in the election, and she will carry Lebanon's name into one of the world's most important human rights bodies. The headline says "election." What I see is a lifetime behind it. I see a woman who chose the hardest causes, defending the dignity of people the world often prefers to forget. I see someone who kept going when the work was heavy and the recognition was nowhere in sight. And I see the person who has always been there for me: my aunt, my hero, my sister, and the example I measure myself against. She showed me that strength and kindness belong together. That integrity is not negotiable. And that one person, standing firmly for what is right, can make a difference far beyond herself. Today the world recognized what our family has always known. I am grateful to the founders Hisham Mansour and Eduardo Fakhoury for the trust and support, and to everyone across the group for the energy, commitment and teamwork throughout the journey. We achieved a lot together, and I leave proud of the results, but even more appreciative of the people and relationships built along the way. I am now moving into a new chapter, focusing on a number of personal projects and ideas that I have been postponing for some time. I will also remain involved with CFI as an advisor to the CEO Ziad Melhem , so this is not really a goodbye. Thank you to everyone who was part of this chapter. Looking forward to what comes next.

Ghadeer Ibrahim تفاعل مع ذلكGhadeer Ibrahim تفاعل مع ذلككنت قد وعدت نفسي هذه المرة أن أتابع معظم الجلسات في قمة الإعلام العربي، لكن يبدو أنني كنت متفائلة أكثر من اللازم😄 كل سنة أقول إنني سأجد وقتاً أكبر لحضور الجلسات، وكل سنة يفاجئني حجم القمة والزخم الذي تضيفه! هذه الدورة كانت غنية جداً بمواضيعها وبضيوفها وبالإعلانات التي صدرت عنها. وكالعادة سعدت بلقاء عدد كبير من الزملاء والزميلات. تشرفت هذه السنة بالحديث في جلسة عن تحدي التزييف العميق في الإعلام، وذلك بدعوة كريمة من أكاديمية دبي للإعلام، حيث أكدنا على أهمية التعا��ن بين وسائل الإعلام وشركات التكنولوجيا للتعامل مع تفاقم هذا التحدي. لكن في رأيي، الموضوع لا يتوقف هنا. للجمهور أيضاً دور أساسي. أحياناً كل ما نحتاجه هو أن نتوقف قليلاً قبل أن نشارك خبراً أو فيديو، ونسأل عن مصدره ونتأكد منه 😊 ومن الأشياء التي أسعدتني كثيراً في هذه الدورة فوز قناة CNBC عربية بجائزة أفضل برنامج اقتصادي عن برنامج «تحت الضوء». مبروك للزميلة رولا والزميل الطيب على التقديم، وللزميلة نور على الإشراف والإعداد، ولكل فريق العمل الذي يعمل خلف الكواليس ويبذل الكثير من الجهد في كل حلقة. فخورة جداً بفريق القناة الذي يجهد دائماً لتقديم عمل يمثل ما نؤمن به ويخرجه بأفضل صورة ممكنة. و أخيراً، تحية للزملاء في نادي دبي للصحافة، الذين يبذلون كل سنة جهدا استثنائياً لإخراج دورة جديدة تبهرنا بثراء مواضيعها وتنوع جلساتها. لهم كل التقدير لصناعة هذه المساحة من الحوار المهم حول مستقبل الإعلام العربي. وسأحاول السنة المقبلة متابعة عدد أكبر من الجلسات 😊 Arabmediasummit2026 DubaiMediaAcademy CNBC Arabia Noor Al-Anbagi Rula Al Tarawneh Maryam Al Mheiri Muna Busamra

Expats working in Dubai make up roughly 80% of the emirate’s population. I am responsible for building and developing key relationships within the Jordanian community members in Dubai. As part of our charity programs, we organize Iftar during the Holy month of Ramadan. We also help other expats to integrate into their new environment and new life!
